The Tekonsha Brakeman IV brake controller uses a time-delayed approach to apply braking power, increasing at a fixed rate. This ensures smooth and controlled braking, making it ideal for basic and light-duty towing needs.

EASY INSTALLATION

The Brakeman IV features a Plug & Play port for effortless installation. With a compact design, you can mount it above or below the dashboard, in any direction, as it is within easy reach for the driver.

DIGITAL DISPLAY FOR EASY THROUGHPUT

A digital display clearly shows settings, real-time diagnostics, and short circuit protection. A red light indicates power increase to trailer brakes, while green signifies a secure connection.

MANUALLY APPLY BRAKES WHEN NEEDED

Should you need to manually apply brakes, simply move the manual control lever to the left. The Brakeman IV will activate trailer brakes up to the power level previously set.

VERSATILE COMPATIBILITY

Suitable for a wide range of vehicles, the Brakeman IV is compatible with Ford, GM, Chevy, Dodge, RAM, Toyota, and Jeep models, among others. It supports 2, 4, 6, and 8 brakes (1-4 axles). Note that a vehicle-specific Tekonsha Plug & Play brake controller wiring harness is sold separately.
